‘This extension of an existing chapel added additional living space and unrivalled views of the spectacular countryside’

Terence Bourton

We adapted this existing Victorian chapel renovation with a sympathetic glass-fronted extension giving the clients additional living space and an abundance of light. Working with top-class eco-architects ARCO2 we created a super-sleek build that gave a contemporary and timeless appeal. Floor to ceiling sliding doors and windows let the light pour into the new extension living space and made the most of the far reaching countryside views that this property boasts.

The sedum roof seamlessly blends the green landscape with the build which softens the solid architectural design of this add-on. Glass balustrade was installed segregating the open plan kitchen and living area to allow for uninterrupted views through the space and out onto the south facing three acre meadow.
